Mysterious Islands
With limited moves available, everyone is wondering if the current island is worth spending moves on. We look into it and do an analysis of each island based on Emerald Value ("EV*") per move that is necessary to reach a tower that is containing big rewards.
As a comparison, here are the avg. values for EV per move in the past and current years:
- 2025 (all 27 maps): 2.613 EV/move
- 2026 (10 maps so far): 3.048 EV/move
One thing that is very noticable: The maps around a new hero or titan event usually offer more value than the regular monthly maps. Check out more on the bottom of the page ... also to find out about what "EV" actually is :)
May 2026 - Adam Event Map
The map value is better than that of the regular map this month and a little above this years average (3.15k EV/move).
Check the right side for a detailed analysis.
- The first 2 towers alone are absolutely not worth it with around 2.1k EV/move
- The next 2 towers offer a lot more value per move - more than 4.5k EV each
- The best approach would be to either do nothing on this map or go for all 4 towers
May 2026 - Monthly Map
Analysis of May map. It's a very average map in general (2.65k EV/move) and overall not a map to be excited about. You might as well skip it completely and hope for something better in the future.
But check the right side for a detailed analysis.
- It kinda splits into 4 paths with 2 towers each. And you should usually(!) do both towers per path, because the 2nd tower usually(!) offers more value per move.
- The first 3 paths are very similar in value and a little above average - so you pick what you need
- The 4th path (Ascension mats) offers less value. And the 2nd tower there is even worse. I also personally do not like Wish boxes, esp. not for Insignias. You get a lot of stuff you might not need.

*What is Emerald Value ("EV")?
EV is a unit to objectively quantify the value of a reward and compare it to others. For example: a Great Enchantment Rune has the value of 100 EV, because you could optionally spend 100 Emeralds to get the same effect. 500 Titan Potions are also worth 100 EV, because you could also spend 100 Emeralds. Which also means that 1 Great Enchantment rune has the same value as 500 Titan Potions.
Note that i consider 1 Emerald to have 2 EV. That is so, because spending Emeralds gives you rewards from quests. Smart spending at the right time (overlapping events etc.) should easily give you twice the value of what you spend.
There are a few resources that cannot be directly bought with emeralds. Primal catalyst is an example. I determined primal catalysts EV by looking at a Red Gift of Dominion, that i can turn into 225 primal catalysts. Unfortunately, even that Red Gift cannot be bought directly. But i know that i can use a Red Gift to get items that are worth around 65-70k emeralds = EV (in the Rarity Fair). Or let's say around 67.5k on average. Now i do 67.5k/225 and get 300 EV per primal catalyst.
